- The Biola Eagles suffer a bitter loss to the University of San
Diego Toreros, 12-3. Despite playing with one less player in the
entire 1st quarter, the Toreros outscored the Eagles 4-1. Biola
was not ready for the overly aggresive play of the Toreros who
double and triple teamed any Eagle who possesed the ball.
The bright
spots of the Eagles' day occured when Senior middie John Tiffin
passed to Freshman Josh Agadoni who put it in the net in the first
quarter. The next score came in the third quarter when Sophomore
Tommy Pocus assisted Senior Sean Connally on a Man-up play. Connally
scored the last goal in fourth quarter to give the Eagles three.
